    • A total of eight teams will play in the DOTA 2 Dota Pro Circuit China 2023 Tour 1: Division I tournament.
    • Out of the eight teams, six teams are selected from the DPC CN 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I. On the other hand, the rest of the two teams are selected from the DPC CN 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division II.

    • The top four teams will be seeded to the major of this tournament. While the top six teams will qualify for staying in the current division for the next tour.
