The competition was first held in 2012 and is now one of the top tier tournaments in LoL betting. Since its inception, SK Telecom T1 (now T1) has won the event multiple times, though were beaten in the 2023 final by their fierce rivals Gen.G. The tournament usually commences in January and concludes in April. The most recent final match attracted almost a million and a half viewers at its peak, to witness Gen.G claim the first prize of just over 150,000 US Dollars. T1 and Gen.G are again going to be the teams to watch next year.
